VEX GO
-
VEX GO block-based system enables students to effortlessly create projects using a simple drag-and-drop interface. Visual cues like shape, color, and label make block identification easy. With VEXcode GO, students can concentrate on creativity and learning computer science concepts, without getting bogged down in the coding interface.
-
In this chapter, you'll start with your VEX GO Kit by building your first robot. Learn to charge the Battery, connect it to the Brain, build the Speed Build, update the Brain firmware, and connect to VEXcode GO for coding.
-
Once your Build is finished, it's time to start maneuvering your robot. This chapter covers updating the Controller firmware, linking the Brain to the VEX GO Code for driving, exploring various driver configurations in the built-in Drive program, and hands-on testing to kickstart your robot driving experience!
-
For the Disk Mover Challenge, the Robot is tasked with using the Electromagnet to pick up disks and transport them. To tackle this challenge, you'll employ nested loops and utilize blocks from the Drivetrain, Sensing, and Control categories in conjunction with the Electromagnet.
VEX IQ
-
The Introduction to VEX IQ (2nd gen) interactive session will guide you through learning to build and code with VEX IQ. Get ready to use VEX IQ as you learn about the elements of a VEX IQ (2nd generation) Kit by completing hands-on activities and challenges.
